Under the EU Aid Regulation, EUR 760,670,469.93 was programmed from 2006 to the end of 2025, per the Commission's twentieth report, which uses the word 'programmed.' In 2024/25, 142 scholarships let Turkish Cypriots study in EU countries — 2,418 since 2007 — because those degrees are recognised. Erasmus+ as a programme stays out of reach in the north; the European Parliament's culture committee was reported in February 2024 calling that exclusion unacceptable.12345
