A parcel addressed to the north
Where does the recipient have to go, and what if they cannot cross?
What the documents show
Cyprus Post sends non-customs mail for northern recipients through UNFICYP. Items subject to customs must be collected in Strovolos by the addressee or an authorised person with identification. The procedure therefore depends on the type of item and, for customs items, someone's ability to reach the collection office. The FAQ does not measure the burden this places on recipients.
What the evidence still needs to answer
What are actual delivery times, costs and loss rates, including for people unable to travel?
