The European Parliament's own MEP directory records Niyazi Kızılyürek as having served as an MEP for Cyprus, on the AKEL (Progressive Party of Working People) list, from 2 July 2019 to 15 July 2024 (9th parliamentary term), with the directory's listing for him confined to that term and no entry continuing into the 10th term, which began 16 July 2024.
